in I won! I won! I won!
Got a recorded delivery letter today from La Costa holidays asking me to call 0800 number and that l had won holiday accomodation, sure this is a scam has anyone else had one .

    I am certain La Costa are timeshare.They may want payment or something like that.Just be aware it may not be a normal prize.

    If they are same as Club La Costa we got hounded by them in Tenerife. We were very niave and almost got sucked in with all their pressure sales. Thank god we saw sense within a day and cancelled. Accommodation is outstanding but I'd still avoid at all costs.

    Hi KIMY - take a look at this thread on MSE - also do a search on the forums for "club la costa" as there have been a lot of discussions about them over the years :)

    Use the Forum Search on MSE to find all the other threads about Club La Costa / CLC. Then judge for yourself ;) Personally, we wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

    Not had one myself!!! I would have though that scams would have premium rate numbers and wouldn't bother sending the letters recorded as that will cost them more!!

    Many thanks have searched through forum and looks like a timeshare scam, got all excited. Very clever sending letters by recorded post, looks and you think genuine.
    Maybe next recorded letter will be a true holiday win.
