I need some advice re a 3 way collision. I hit a car in front of me and was hit from behind by a van. I hired a van to continue with my business, as my own van was a write off. At that time I did have some money in my bank account, but my insurance company are now telling me that I should not have hired, but purchased a vehicle straight away, whilst waiting for the insurance claim to come through.Should they have informed me at the time, that I would have had to pay to hire a van, because I had some money in the bank? My insurance is fully comprehensive.

Why are your insurance company involved with this?

Your decision to hire rather than buy a new vehicle isn't any concern of theirs is it?
