Eon - Problem with bill frequency
I have a little problem with my bill frequency, i tried calling Eon about it but never really got a answer, so hopefully i can get alittle help from someone.
Ok i had a similar problem 3months back but that's been sorted, so will take it from there.
I like to pay quarterly as it's alot better for me when it comes to saving for it, i give a reading on the 27th June, payed it on the 30th June, it says then "Your expected next bill date will be around 2nd-3rd October 2011, so nearly 3months go by and i get a email from Eon requesting my readings on the 22nd September 2011, so wanting to avoid a estermated bill i gave my meter readings on the 23rd September 2011, went through ok and i paid it on the same day.
I then checked my account online and i was confused to see that my next estermated bill says "Your expected next bill date will be around 02 November 2011"
So i checked my Statement Frequency and it still says "Quarterly" so can someone explain to me why my next bill is in 1month instead of the 3months ?
I have always given my readings to eon when they ask by email which is about 10days before next bill date.
Hopefully this isn't too confusing and i can get alittle help.

I got your email as well, sorry I have only just replied I don't work over the weekends
The billing frequency can change for a number of reasons, for example, changing tariff, setting up an online account or canceling this, this can also change (although not often) if the meter readers change their cycle.
The bills may also appear out of line if we produce an estimated bill then we receive readings and produce an accurate bill.
Or if you have produced a bill using the real time function on the website.
However, if nothing has changed and you haven't had any amended bills or produced a real time bill, then it would be probably be best if I have a look at your account.

If you remember you helped me out a few months again because my statement frequency had changed to monthly, and you got everything changed for me back to quartely, then 3months went by and i got email saying they wanted my readings, i always get the email around 22nd-24th so i ring them up with my readings, they produced the bill but then when i looked in my account it says the next bill date is 2nd november so that would make it monthly, but my bill frequency still says Quarterly.
Now im not sure why they did that but could it be the date i give my readings in, what i mean could it be alittle to soon, should i give my readings alittle closer to the bill date ?0 -
