Freelance Data Entry

Hi,
Has anyone heard of any good sites on the internet where you can get genuine data entry work?
I've been looking but a lot of them seem to be scams..For instance gofreelance.com..Which charges you $49.95 a month!
I am going to be a back in the UK for a few weeks in between while I'm travelling the world.
I just want some extra income while I'm there, maybe 50 pound a week, and thought this would probably be the best way to do it, considering I have about 5 or 6 years of data entry experience.
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with freelance data entry work..
Thanks

Very poor reputation on web of trust just some reviews below

"Appears to be a scam, watch out for the $49.95 monthly charge. "

WARNING FAKE NEWS SITE WITH LINKS TO WORK AT HOME SCAM: These days fake news sites abound. The criminals who create them hope that you will be lured into clicking on the links which lead to other frauds. These criminal scammers make exorbitant claims in an effort to draw desperate people into their latest work at home and get rich quick scam.
Do not believe a word they say. These crooks just want at your money. Do not click on links contained in spam e-mail messages. Do not become the next victim of these ruthless criminals. "
This looks like an affiliate marketing site. They try to offer freelance job information when really the just want your name and email to spam you. Then it pushes you to their affiliate page where you have to purchase something. "0 -
Have you heard if any of the freelance websites offer genuine data entry entry work?0

Freelancer.com, Elance.com, guru.com, possibly People per Hour. Not very highly paid though.0

I'm already on freelancer.com
It seems like its going to be tough on any of them to actually win a contract though. As a lot of people on the sites are from other parts of the world and just seem to bid around $2 an hour for any project..
I guess I'm hoping people would rather pay a little bit more for some quality, as I don't mind getting less than minimum wage, but at $2 an hour, it would take me weeks to earn 50 pound! :rotfl:
I suppose I'm hoping to make around 50-60 pound a week, as i'll just be doing it part time. Do you think that's achievable on these types of sites?0 -
why dont you get a part time job then.0

I'm only going to be back in the UK for 3 weeks..And I'm going to be moving around a few places whilst I'm in the UK..So really need something I can do remotely/online that's flexible with hours..
Are my options basically, online surveys or freelance data entry?0 -
Has anyone used "cash at home"? http://daily-inquirer.com/finance/JOBS/working-from-home.html?tid=3155&sid=kf3-1b0

Scam, much-mentioned around these parts. The ´housewife/mother´ featured manages to live all over the world. Strangely enough, she appears to have just moved to where I live. Perhaps she´d like to share her story over coffee :rotfl:0
