Ho to disable webcam link?

My PC has built in web cam - there is a function to open it at the top of my screen - but even when i dont want it when i scroll near a toolbar the optionm drops down

Any idea how i can stop this as im forever loading it when im just trying to close a tab down

Download, install and open CCleaner. Run Cleaner.
Then using the same program; Go to Tools > Start up
Look for the webcam entry there ans choose to Disable it.

Great stuff - thanks worked a treat. Already had ccleaner so that was good.

When booting up i get other stuff coming up - like trials for software etc that i think where pre loaded - they didnt seem to show in ccleaner - where could i find these to stop them?

Open CCleaner.
Then using the same program; Go to Tools > Start up and click on the save to text file button in the bottom right hand corner. Save the text file to your Desktop. Go to Tools > Uninstall and repeat the exercise.

Cover your webcam when not in use, as people can access it remotely and spy on you and record you without your knowledge.
