Fed up of receiving threatening letters from BT for non payment. Even though we have direct debits setup.
For some reason BT have taken payments before but since then we have paid with a payment card and its no longer working.
Before the latest bill was due i reset the direct debit but another non paid bill arrived.
We went and paid on the card + extra. A week later we received a letter with threats to disconnect us. That annoyed me.
We signed upto the post office telecoms service and the changeover date will be the 28th October, The same day as the contract ends.
We have now received a letter saying we must pay £68 early termination fee and a date of 21st october.
I phoned earlier and was not impressed with the response. Indian call centre who kept saying the date would be 21st even though i said no 28th.... Oh yeah 28th she said.
Another gripe i chose option 2 to not have to do a survey after the call. Yet within minutes the phone rang and they asked how i rated the service.
Gripe over.
I need to confirm the charge has been cancelled and the correct changeover date is the 28th. Thanks.
