11 years old ...The world is his oyster.
If you have a budget of £700 it is a much bigger oyster than a £350 budget.

At 11 I would have loved a machine that did whatever I wanted it to do.
Tell us your budget and we will show you your limits.

does it HAVE to be brand new or would you be ok with a refurb/outlet laptop,
i only ask as in most instances a refurb laptop has a good chunk of money knocked off it, for example i have recently got my step daughter a refurb laptop from argos outlet on ebay for christmas, it will suite her needs perfectly (basic normal uses plus the sims 3) and it only cost me £230 compared to the same laptop on sale in PC world 'new' which was £340 (although that is over priced for the spec but hey its pc world!)
and realistically, the only way you know it is not new is that the box is is damaged, the actual laptop looks perfectDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -

She is quite a bit younger than 11 but really into computers particularly surfing the internet, playing games on cbebbies and nick jr. We have found this is a great first laptop. She is very pleased with it and we are so pleased with the price too at £159 :j0 -
