Ann Summers partyplan-head office lies!

I worked as a party organiser for Ann Summers a few years ago, but due to health problems I had to leave. As part of the agreement you must return £500 worth of kit upon leaving, or incur a debt. As I was in hospital at the time, my unit organiser had my kit picked up by the couriers from her daytime place of work (there was no one else who could do it and I trusted her). Through no fault of her own she no longer had the receipt of collection from couriers, and typically, head office at Ann Summers say they never received it. Cue a couple of years of me chasing dca's, having repayment plans knocked back, yet more charges being added. I finally managed to speak to Yvonne at head office, and discussed that I was interested in coming back as a party organiser (it was a job I enjoyed, I was bloody good at it, and I was making good money from it!). I explained I had two options, I could afford x amount per month to pay off full amount, or if they would accept a full and final settlement figure, I would be borrowing the money from a friend who would be paying on their credit card, and I would be able to pay her off with the money I would be earning from coming back to work with them (at a higher amount then my monthly repayment offer as I would have to take into account interest on the card) She agreed, told me once it was paid I could come back almost instantly and asked if I wanted to be given details of a local Unit organiser who could sign me back up. So, after receiving a letter which just states they would accept x amount as a full and final settlement of the outstanding debt, and no more action would be taken, my friend called and paid using his credit card, and I agreed I would pay him back monthly.
I called today to chase them to update my credit file, and mentioned coming back to work for them. I was passed to 3 different people before some rude arrogant **** informed me that since I was given a full and final settlement I would NEVER be allowed to come back as a party organiser!
I am so annoyed!! I asked for a copy of the recording of the origional call but told that they didnt record it, and he argued blind that I had been told. If I had been told I wouldnt of agreed to a loan from a friend with repayments that I now cant afford because I dont have the income I expected to!!
So for anyone thinking of becoming a party organiser, beware, head office like nothing better than to screw you over!!
