I brought a Targa a good few years back. It ran ok'ish for a few months then started to play up. Extremely inconsistent, slow, crashes, heating up, rattling noise under under the case, lock ups, complete knock outs now the laptop doesn't stay on for longer than an hour. it just gets too hot, the whole thing has been dying for years.
It started off being really bad for consistency then just got worse. I've contacted support on numerous occasions and they said an update to solve your problem will be issued, this was years ago. I got a technician out to try sort the problem but after telling him everything he told me to take it back and didn't even bother opening it up even though something was rattling under the case. i took it back to Lidl and they said contact the manufacturer, this was years ago. now its getting even worse i contact support again, they tell me warranty is out of date so they can't do much. i told them everything before when it should of been recalled for repairs! I've been contact with support since it started playing up.
where do i stand now? i've got this useless laptop, they haven't provided support that they claim. its as if they have longed it out so its out of warranty so they don't have to do anything.
laws in the UK go against what they done. i don't know how to address this now, this laptop is fried although its runs for less than an hour.
all help is much appreciated.

"A good few years" means how many?
The UK Sale of Goods Act gives you six years from purchase to claim as unfit for purpose or inherently faulty, but Lidl will be entitled to require you to have a qualified person report that the problem was inherent and not user-caused.0
