npower bill query
hi need help trying to get my head around our electricty bill . We have paid npower 270 in monthly direct debits since feb this year. They have now sent us an email saying that we owe them £281 and our new monthly payment will be £187 !! . I phoned them and they were'nt helpful at all. I can't understand how we could use so much electricity over mostly warmer months - infact the whole bill is only around £25 cheaper than our winter bill which as we all know was loads for all of us.Has anyone else had any problems or dealings with npower ? . We are on go save s economy 7 tariff

Welcome to the forum.
You don't say what type of property you occupy but to have an expenditure of £551(£270 + £281) for 8 months is certainly not high for a property on Economy 7 - especially as Feb this year was still mid-winter.0 -
Hi flower8
There could be a number of reasons why your direct debit payments have increased - do you want me to look into this for you? If so, just pop your account details in an email to forumresponse@npower.com and I'll take a look.
Best wishes
Sally
