excel parking

just had a letter from excel parking for a charge of £60 if I pay in 14 days or £100 after, I was on Iceland car park and didn't have any money on me, my son who is mentally disabled was being taken to the bank by my husband so I just sat in car. They have my car photos and say I must pay, can I ignore this?

    Hi,
A quick search will reveal that Excel has lost a court case and been ignored countless times.

They have lost rather more than one county court case involving people who had allegedly contracted with them for parking and if you count soundly losing a case involving Revenue & Customs who were pursuing them for VAT on their so-called tickets then their court record of late has been pretty dire.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Ignore them but get ready and be prepared for the letters, they will impersonate and mimic authority, debt collectors and solicitors, be ready and be prepared.
