Lloyds TSB an update on why we've not been paid

I've just been on the phone to the PPI department who for once didn't fob me off, but gave me a real reason for why the payments have stopped being paid.
They've stopped payments.
They also don't have a priority spreadsheet, she said "if you've spent that money before you've got it then that doesn't push you up the list, the list is on a first come first served basis. Changing your details puts you back to the bottom of the spreadsheet."
Now the really interesting thing. My letter was dated 5th August, and my details were amended on the 5th September. According to the lady on the phone, one of the monkeys made an amendment to the payment spreadsheet which pushed all the names down a row, but left all the payments in place. This meant that 40,000 refunds were paid incorrectly (I think she said they were paid). So they have stopped payments whilst they rectify this issue.
She did say that when they start processing mine will be one of the first to be processed as they stopped right by me and that if I want the interest recalculating I'll have to go to the bottom of the spreadsheet again.
I'm just glad there was a reason other than "I'm really sorry it'll turn up in 7-8 weeks time, maybe..."

Ive just spoken to them and was told they are getting through them as quickly as they can. My loan has been restructred this week (gone down by £4800 yay yay) and was told that the premiums will be paid back into my account that my DD is set up for and the interest will be sent to me by chq. They couldnt tell me when but as my loan has been done I was told it 'wont be long'.0

Ive head so many stories and excuses that lloyds have been over the past 8 weeks, had emails back and forth with ANDREA BARRY claims advisor and to be honest I dont know what to believe anymore
My offer letter was dated 12th August.......doesnt make a difference to them ...0 -
Were supposed to believe they have actually paid 40,000 people wrongly, strange how hardly any one on this site has actually said they have been paid!! I think this is maybe another delaying tactic. I rang today and they said cheques were still being issued around 15,000 per day. On Watchdog it said Lloyds had around 210,000 claims in,this would mean that ALL the claims could be sorted in wait for it.........15 DAYS!!! Come on Lloyds get your act together before you lose all your customers for good.0

Can I Ask when were they on watchdog?0 -
partly true,I spoke to a manager on thursday, payments have just started leaving the refund team again, their was an error on both spreadsheets for a few days this week but was on thursday working normally again, the priority spreadsheet is not because we are 'queue jumping' but for those who were missed off the ordinary one who should have been paid by now which I should have been by last wednesday by the date I was given.0

is it true you are bumped to the bottom of the queue if you email in complaining about the lenghth of time being paid from lloyds tsb?0

I very much doubt that when I spoke to the fos they encouraged me to write to the bank either via letter of email to see what the hold up in my payment was.The only time you go back to lower on this list is when you change payment method e.g swap from cheque to bacs and vice versais it true you are bumped to the bottom of the queue if you email in complaining about the lenghth of time being paid from lloyds tsb?0 -

Hi
I didn't think they could do that to be honest, "I think" maybe the higher amount refunds are being left longer, and they are trying to deal with the less amounts first, although please do not quote me on this, as I may be wrong, but it would be wrong if they had do that (in regards of pushing back down the queue), personally I think they are always happy to get them done with to avoid having bother of emails if you get my drift lol.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
