I need a window sill-for the kitchen-where am I best to buy one?
We have a travis perkins and a B&Q-its to go on the kitchen window sill behind the sink, I have plant pots etc on there. Should I get wood or mdf?
Thanks

I got one recently from B&Q, cant remember how much (probably depends on the length anyway). its wood. To replace an old one that was made of MDF but had been affected by damp. The new one was slightly thicker, which meant there was some chipping away at the plaster at the sides to make it fit, then filling to make good.0

Just go to your local timber mill with some measurements and im sure they will sell you an offcut..and much cheaper than b&q or whatever. Trim to suit then paint, job done.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

Will travis perkins do? I have no idea if we have a woodyard near us! I did want wood. The wall is newly plastered, and got a carpenter coming in to lay floor an do skirtings so hopefully he can do that too0
