I purchased an Invision Power Board license a few years ago. I pad a fee for it and they charge $25 every 6 months to get access to the latest updates and support.
However I don't use the software anymore and the forum is closed.
Do I need to keep paying the $25 every 6 months? I'm not using the support or the updates - but I'm worried if I stop paying it if I decide to use the software again in the future either a) I'll have to pay the purchase fee again or b) I'll need to pay all the update payments that I have missed.
Should I keep paying? It seems a new license if $149.99 which is what I paid for it IIRC which equals about 6 update payments (3 years worth).
I've sent them a ticket on their website but they might just want me to pay them - so was wondering if anyone had any experience with this
