NTL Email

I currently have NTL Broadband and have had an NTL account for five years plus now. When creating my account some years ago I had to create an email which is in use. However I am unable to access it anymore. So I thought I would create a new email account with NTL. However it suggest an email username and password for me but when I attempt to creat it I get a message saying failure to create account due to invalid cos name. Any ideas what this means?

Could be a problem with your original email account. You cannot change that one but you can add more, perhaps as the original one is not working, it won`t let you add more.

Any idea why you can`t access the first email address?

Having same problem here too, but original account still working.

Think must be problem at NTL server end.

Will call in morning to find out.

Had this problem in past, when I could not remember the original password they issued me. I just gave them a call, answered some lame questions and they gave me my password no. and a/c details.

Only error i`m getting is

Email Account Manager
Error creating mailbox
SystemError


Ended up calling NTL tech support and they created a new account for me (it IS a problem at their end!!)
