dmp

I am thinkin of claiming ppi, but I'm on a dmp, if I was successful in claiming would this affect my dmp, ie, would the banks start being funny and not want my dmp any more?

If you the bank money on a loan/credit card that you are thinking about claiming ppi against they will as rule seek to offset any amount given back against what you owe them.

I know that, and I'm happy for this because my debt will reduce, but I am worried that bank would want to end dmp and request balance because I have claimed

There is no reason they should require you to stop the DMP, they will if you are succesful get a amount paid off the balance anyway so this will only help you in reducing any amounts owed.

Who are using for your DMP, if it is a fee paying one switch it asap to either of the Charity ones, CCCS or Payplan.
  • Im with cccs, and I'm going to do the ppi claim myself from what I read on here, esp after one of these companies told me if I did it myself and it got refered to the fos it would cost me 700 quid, told them to get stuffed lol
