Friday 14th October - What small DFW things will you be doing today? When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D

Good Morning everyone thankfully the weekend is here.

Hope you are all well no idea where past few days have gone hope you are all well.

Today I have checked the bank yippee payday today and we stayed in credit. Just one more month of having to pay your silly 4 figure mortage then we are onto 3.5 apr and back into 3 figure yippeee

1. Check bank Done
2. Check surveys
3. Get kids ready for nursery
4. Try and get some accounts done while they are at nursery Maanged to get a few jobs got about another
5. Do a small shopping list and get DH to go to shops as he will stick to the list
6. Make a meal planner
7. Got a friend bringing dinner today as I look after her DD for free for couple of hours while she works.
8. Take kids to toddler group after nursery
9 Try and get a load of washing line dried
10 stay away from shops !!!

After a week or so of very un-DFWy actions, I'm now back on the bandwagon with a vengeance!

Today I have/will:
Check banking
Check CC
Check TCB
Update spreadsheets
Pick up work parking permit
Happy Birthdays on Facebook rather than text
Breakfast/lunch from stores
2lts water
Carshare to work
Find out whether I get payrise this pay day or next
Advertise father's Iphone 3GS on work intranet - try and avoid Ebay fees!
Work hard - got a cold today and feeling a very thick head, so this one might be tricky!

God morning all, and thanks to Tebheag for just beating me to it today! Another early start for me, so I've got a few minutes spare to do a list.

So far:

• checked banking
• checked for surveys
• boxed up some eggs to sell
• made lunch and snacks to take to work
• updated Micr0s*ft M*ney

I will also:

• feed and water the chookies
• get a lift to and from work
• keep an eye on surveys throughout the day (getting quite a few at the moment )
• phone insurance company with "free" minutes
• stay in and knit at lunchtime to avoid spending money
• dinner from stores
• have an NSD (11th one in 14 days )
• draft corset pattern for latest order

I've got a busy weekend ahead, but also need to crack on with this latest order. Could someone invent an extra day for me please???

• VSP? Dunno its tight need to work out what I need for the next week before payday
• all food from stores
• update expenses at work
• friend coming round after dinner to catch up & see new flat - jacket spuds & beans for tea mmmmmmm
• wearing lovely new whistles jumper I bought from CS yesterday - bargainous finds, I got 2 jumpers (1 whistles 1 Zara), 2 dresses (1 top shop) & a french connection skirt for £25! :T
• work out what I'm going to donated to charity from clothes - 1 in 1 out in our household!
• upack at least 1 box tonight
• a few minor diy projects - very small but will make a big difference to organisation!
• make banana bread
• check through fridge/cupboard to make sure nothing perishes

ok that'll do me. Happy Friday guys last push & we're there :T

Hurrah it's Friday! I'm sooo ready for the weekend, & a nice long lie in...haha. Hoping today will be pretty chilled out at work since our supervisor is on holiday, but knowing my luck there will be some horrendous problem we need to try & resolve by ourselves! Bad Perni, must think positive!

- Aiming for an NSD today. Failed miserably yesterday after going to get my sis a birthday card and coming out stocked up with xmas wraping paper. such good deals at card factory right now!
- Taking lunch to placement, breakfast from home.
- Drive slowly as im visiting home for the weekend. need to make my petrol last! :-o
- Going to BFs for dinner
- Night in with BF = cheap night!

morning everyone and thanks to Tebheag for starting us.

Just back ended up going away for a few days with my DD sis and my nieces to the caravan spent some money but would have just been as much taking DD2 out for days. We had a lovely relaxing time.

List for today:

• unpack all bags
• do the mountain of washing and hopefully it stays dry to get it out on the line
• tidy house
• maybe go grocery shop
• check banking/emails
• work out budgets
• move money to various pots

They still take about 10% of the selling price though - that's the costly bit isn't it...not so much the listing fees:o
