MFI/Black Horse

HI,
has anyone had any joy or any avenues to go down regarding claiming PPI from a loan from MFI.
I know they are now bust and the loans are provided by Black Horse, just not sure who to point the finger at and who to try and claim against.
Basically, my mum got a loan for a kitchen through MFI a few years ago, PPI was added and she didnt know this. Through the time she had the loan she was also made redundant and got into serious arrears on paying the loan amount.
Only through me looking at her paperwork has brought this to light and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction!!

Hi there
You normally pursue the ones who set up the account, so in your case MFI.
If taken out from Jan 2005, then maybe you can make a claim through the FSCS, if this is the case contact them and ask if the business are listed, if they are and the business were regulated at the time you taken out the policy then this will or should be dealt with by the FSCS.

Otherwise, you could contact the FOS who may suggest the Underwriter/insurer as another avenue, they will investigate the liabilities of insurance side of it etc.
