Internet Explorer - completing forms

When I'm logging into my eBay account, I type the first letter of my name and the whole name comes up in the drop down box below. I then click on this and my password is entered automatically - this is brill because it saves time.

When my wife is entering her name and password, she has to type the whole thing, and I can't find where to change this in Internet Explorer. I've made sure that all the boxes in the auto-complete section of the content tab are checked, and also tried deleting all browsing history, but still can't get the form to auto-complete. This is now driving me mad!

  • Are you using IE6? If so, try this. Go to Tools - Internet Options and click on the Content tab. Click on Autocomplete and make sure that the usernames box is ticked. I don't know if IE7 is similar as I don't use it!
    Hope this restores your sanity!
