  • Just got back from Prague, and fell in love with the place. We also had a free upgrade to the Penthouse apartment where we were staying ;). On the plus side for moneysaving, the holiday cost approximately 100 pounds less than expected.

Also my bf finally got a start date for his new job, near to where I work, which means we will be moving in together!

Payday today. Paid £600 into savings account, bringing this months total to £750 so far. Am awaiting expenses back from work, which total £290. These will be swept straight across into the savings when I get them back.

So, a nice early pay day this month and £1000 transferred into my savings account! Total now £3000 for this year and £13,130 in total. It's nice to think that at the end of the year I'll have £25k in savings, although not so nice to think that I can't do anything with it until mid-2014 when the banks might forget about my past indiscretions! :P

Will update the form on front page...

Hope everyone is on target for their end of year number! x
  • Payday:j £2.47 transferred for the VSP challenge and £40 standard transfer from my pay.
  • I managed to get a few more sales on ebay last week so another £150 transferred into savings today bringing my total to £800, so only another £200 to make by the end of Feb to keep on target!!! Will try my best but it's highly unlikely I'll reach this.
