He's going to be a very busy man then...
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

I for one would rather they added the prizes up to a cash value and knocked a £5 of my electric bill

Rewards, discounts, cashbacks, savingsplans, have all one thing in common; they are polished turds that sound a lot better than they are when you look into them. Most of them are just a variation of the NOW 50% REDUCED IN PRICE ads where the "original/previous" price is first heavily inflated.
  • How about.........

    Rewarding us............

With a website that doesn't mess up your direct debit ammount whenever you enter a meter reading :o

I have just been on the EDF website but can't see anything about rewards - am I missing something? Is there a link?

Thanks, can't see why they are bothering, how will they cope with all that extra admin?

Don't really fancy any of the prizes anyway.

Because it's cheaper than knocking money off peoples bills, and people are terrible at probability.
If there are 'thousands' - let's say 2000 - of prizes, and 5 million customers, then that's well under a pound per customer.

None of the prizes interest me. Not that I'd expect to win anyway.
