okay, i can't praise the ladies who work here enough!!!
I'm deaf and so if i visit a supermarket and i need to call for a taxi, i can't use the phone on the wall (that is at just about every supermarket in the country!) that dials direct to the taxi firm, so i have to ask a member of staff to call.
At Asda n Aldi (the other two supermarkets i go to now) and the old Kwiksave, i used to get so-so service - sometimes fantastic, sometimes grudging, occasionally i'd really struggle.
but not at tescos in Droylsden, Manchester. As soon as they see me there, and know i need a taxi, they get right on the phone, even if there's lots of other people waiting or they're having difficulty getting through, they just hang in there and keep plugging away to get through. In other stores, i've been told to "can you wait while i deal with these people" or "sorry i can't get through... there's nothing i can do" (Asda, one time - my OH had to beg a friend to pick me up, i had a trolley full of frozen foods!) not in tescos.
they're fantastic ladies, always polite, with wonderful smiles, and i've a lot of time for em. I don't suppose they'll read this, but if they do - Thanks from one very happy customer!!
