Second time I've seen this in a week.
The virus has wiped out the entire user accounts directory of a Vista laptop - deleting documents, photos, music, - the lot.
Both were running free versions of anti-virus programs.
Thought the first one was just a one-off..

Sometimes in Life you get what you pay for. I am running Microsofts FREE Security Essentials on my Vista Home Premium Laptop. I am skeptical about Free AV cos it is free and if I have to pay I will. I have also had BT Home Hub's Free AV supplied as part of my long running contract with them. Free WIFI Hotspots another incentive. Both have protected both terminals my Desktop and Laptop my mine computer. I also run paid AV on my HTC Desire and need to install probably paid AV on Iphone 3GS. I hear there is a mobile Security option. Worth a payout and updates IMHO.
I hope you solve problem.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Well spotted TT. Folders were hidden. Reset permissions to make them active to the new account and copied the lot across. Thanks.0
