    Get any benefit claims in NOW as the chances of getting any backdating (over and above the normal periods for that benefit-some let you have a short period many only pay from the date of claim only) are slim to none. There are very strict criteria to qualify for backdating and they don't seem to fit into any of those.

    You can backdate Pension Credit for 3 months from date of contact. If the business has assets the DWP will take into account value and treat as capital
