Gumtree Daily Deals

Can anyone advise? As a sole trader I was contacted via Gumtree Daily deals where they advertise a service you offer at a discount and you get a percentage.

I went ahead over 2 months ago with the agreement being that I would receive payment after 2 weeks, Gumtree then told me the money came from Canada and their computer system had crashed, then I have been promised payment via ebay twice and still nothing.

My contact at Gumtree is now not answering calls or emails, I really feel like I have been scammed and have seen all the clients that booked and paid via the deal.

They are still advertising a deal everyday if anyone else has used them please can you let me know.

Sounds fishy to me. Have you contacted Gumtree direct as I didn't think they sold that sort of thing.

No if you look at any Gumtree each day they advertise a daily deal its all over the country.

What I am trying to find out is if anyone else has used this as I said cannot get payment of them, and just feel I cannot get to speak to a manager or take the matter further.

Hmm,
You have me worried now, we have just run a Daily Deal this weekend that has been very successful. We will be looking for payment of over £800. I am told it will take 21 days maximum although I have to say I am wondering why it takes so long.
