My last one was 10 years old. It was just a simple white plastic cordless Tefal one. I had to replace it a couple of months ago as it started to leak at the water gauge.

thats the thing these days, items arent made to last as they were years ago.

    Very nice Middy.

I'm concerned a little bit about the energy consumption, how is like for energy consumption?

you can get kettles with a keep warm feature, my last one had this feature, so when u come to reboil, it wouldnt cost so much.

Can only find the quick cup details on their site, and the temperature is given at 90 degrees
