AAaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

I cant believe it, after 6 months of nothing but stress, 1st house falling through after having surveys carried out (£1500 loss), estate agents telling lies, seller about to pull out on 2nd house due to receiving a higher offer, problems with surveys and so much more.................I have finally signed contracts today, exchange on Monday and completion on 31st Jan!

The excitement had completley died until today, I cant believe I am nearly at the finishing line!!!

What have I learnt? Never ever to buy a house ever again, I cant go through this ever again!

Time to go to supermarkets to try and find boxes!!! :j
:j BABY A :j

We've lived in the present house for 14 years &, now the kids have more or less gone, we should be down-sizing but the thought of going through all that sort of stress has totally put us off the experience for the moment.

Well done on sticking with it & all the best in your new home.

    Congratulations!
I hope we won't be too far behind - we are only at the viewing stage but the thought of this dragging on for months is already driving me potty.

Congratulations - lucky you! We sold our house in September, put an offer on the one we wanted at the start of October and still haven't signed contracts. Waiting for guarantees etc. to come through now. We go off on holiday early Feb and are 6 months pregnant already! Only consolation is that the sold sign went up yesterday so must be getting close!
It is soooo stressful! Hope the move goes ok for you!
