Phone for Conference calls

I need to find two phones for the office capable of handling conference calls - I was under the impression that any phone should be able to do this but apparently not as my boss has tried to set ours up and failed . Dont want to spend more than £150 ideally and he would prefer BT.

That may tell you more about your boss than it does about conference calling.

If you use a service such as BT's meetme you don't need a special phone - anything including mobile phones can be used, provided they use tone dialling (which everything does these days).

However, there are several ways that you can do conferencing, and the choice depends mainly on cost (e.g. buying special equipment may have a larger one-off cost but can reduce the cost per call a lot). You'll find what you need here:
