hotpoint aquarius ctd00 CONDENSER TUMBLE DRYER.
has been leaking water from front / bottom (!) so having spent a while on my face clearing out behind condenser element - I decided second time to tip dryer onto her back - --- loads of water came out - and now dryer trips fuse as soon as turned on.
I have unplugged!!
Do I just need to wait for ?? motor / connections / ?? to dry out?
was I doing the right thing ( got loads of gunk out - but still can not understand where / what blockage was causing leak - tubs at back are connected ok.
stripped out heater matrix ( damp... _ and dried with hair dryer...
Dryer was just tipped onto back - then back up = so cant see where else water can be - taken off side panels - no obvious sign of water. Have emailed hotpoint - as their manual makes no mention of problem if tipped over...
cant see why it is trill shorting - tripping rcd.
any ideas?
looks tricky to strip down further.
What else is vulnerable at back of dryer?
