How do I fit this bolt to an outside wall?

Got a bracket to fix to the wall - 4 of these 'bolts' were supplied. No instructions, just pictures which explain very little. Ive posted 2 images - 1 bolt which is in a closed state, and the other opened up to show all the bits. I understand I have to drill a hole in the wall, insert the bolt...but from what I can see,…

having fitted awnings in the past, we used various anchor bolts. The main issue is getting hole right. 0.05 of a mm to big and the bolt will not work. We used chemical fix bolts which are better to carry big weights. If in doubt, drill the hole the same size as the bolt and hammer it in and DON'T overtighten.
