Two queries please:
Does anyone know whether the bookings line is now based in Calais? I keep getting French staff who don't understand what I'm trying to find out. Which is:
I have arthritis and although I'm mobile, I'm vulnerable to a difficult crossing. I manage the Dover Calais route without difficulty - would I be mad to contemplate the Portsmouth Bilbao crossing in June? I have heard that the Bay of Biscay can be tricky at any time of year, and it means 2 nights on board.
Thanks.

I suggest that you cut and paste your question posted here to P&O Customer Services.
I never call their offices becasue they use NGN numbers that will ultimately cost you a fortune. I am unaware that they have a call centre in France but if they do, it would have probably been cheaper to cal them direct rather than the advertised 0870 number.
Here is the email address you need to send your question to; customer.services@poferries.com
I have alway emailed their customer services department with any enquiries and found that they do respond within a few days to you.
Let us know how you get on with them.0 -
Thanks - I have just emailed them, though in the past I haven't had replies.
I may be mistaken about Calais, as I've just found a geographical no. for customer services on the saynoto0870site:
