Going to court to reclaim bank charges

Help - need some advice as we have now received a court date and the bank don't appear to be backing down. We haven't had any offer so far just a letter from the bank's solicitors saying that our claim was "embarassing" as they had not received any evidence to back up our claim. We have since sent them further copies of all the forms and letters. Is it likely that they will just wait until the last minute before settling?

Is it likely that they will just wait until the last minute before settling?

Very likely. The banks are still settling 99.9% of all the court claims before it goes in front of a judge.

  • Keep goin mate, the banks don't want anything to go to court, If even one claim goes to court and is won then this would set the tone for all others.

The banks don't want that till there is a way to beat it.
