Vauxhall Zafira warning light
Hello
FOr the past couple of days a light has come on on the dash - it's a picture of a car on a slippery road. Anyway, today the car won't even start - totally dead, not even turning over.
I don't know if the two are connected? Does anyone know what the symbol means?
I'm going to try a jump start later when my neighbour is back.
Thanks

That light is the traction control. It will light up briefly when the TC kicks in ( usually on a slippery surface ), but if it remains lit permanently that means there's a fault with the TC system.
To the best of my knowledge that wouldn't prevent the car from starting, though. A jump start is the simplest thing to try first off, could well be the battery flat for whatever reason.0
