Who is responsible for the repair of the outdoor Electricity meter cupboard?
The meter reader gave me some pins but they did not fit.
I cannot close the cupboard without tape and still wind and rain soon loosens this and the door swings open.
Thank you.

The gas transporter fitted our gas-meter cupboard so I assume the distribution company is responsible.

You are responsible for the cupboard and can secure the door in any way you like as long as the supplier and meter reader can still gain access when required.

Meter boxes are considered as part of the fabric of the building and are the responsibility of the owner of the building.
I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
