                    Hey
Ive been in contact with a company I purchased from several times via phone.
For some reason, when ive been on hold for 20 mins the line goes dead before Ive ever got to speak to someone.
Its an 0844 number and it costs me each time, this has happened 6 or 7 times now and I feel im out of pocket a fair bit.
20.4p/min.
20 mins each time
7 times
Thats £28.
Has anyone got any advice on this?
Is there a system in place where I can claim that back, if so how do i do it?
I would appreciate any help.
Dave

How about asking for the landline number, saying you won't use them again if you have to use the 0844, and explain why. They are probably not aware of the problem.0

Or try https://www.saynoto0870.com, put in the number and see if there's a geographical one listed. 0 0

If this is part of a claim for a faulty product under the sale of goods act, you may be able to claim the cost of phone calls was consequential loss. See http://www.oft.gov.uk/business-advice/treating-customers-fairly/sogahome/sogaexplained/ section 5.
You could always try sending a copy of the phone bill to the retailer and requesting they pay it.0

            Thanks Guys.
The calls were about faulty damaged goods.
 Every single one of them!
I'm now in the process of getting it refunded.
The fact that they took 4 weeks to deliver a broken product then 3 weeks to replace for it only to break a couple more weeks after that is another issue.
But yes, thanks for the advice, il look into a few of these options.
