Help to log phone fault

just tried to log (another!!!) phone fault with carphone warehouse. Despite the girl having to phone me on my mobile as she couldn't get through on the landline due to the fault, she would not log it as a fault! Agh!!

The background is i had no phone line for over a month with the last fault and i've had problems on the line ever since the fix!

SO even though there was a fault on the line when she called, i have to record the time and date every time this happens and call back because she wouldn't log a fault on the line.

What a waste of effort and time.

She totally ignored my broadband problems (only had problems after they 'upgraded' the line)

So at the end of the call, there are no faults logged so nothing to fix - great way to deal with problem stats!

Hey, steady on. We're talking about Carphone Warehouse here. :(
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
  • Hi,
If you have a Talk Talk line, if you get dial tone, dial 17070 and this will take you to BT's Line Test facilities, if you PM me with your home number i can get it checked as i m a telecoms engineer and do this daily for ppl with problems. Out of interest, why on earth does anyone use talk talk for their calls?? They are a right rip off and the custoerm service is rubbish, as you have found out!
