Some people are told about their reassessment date on their ESA award letter but this does not always happen. My husband was placed in the support in May two years ago and then went through reassessment in May this year. He still hasn't been sent confirmation so I rang the DWP and they told us he has again been placed in the support group for another two years.

My son was also (before going to university) in the support group and he wasn't told his reassessment date either, they called him back after 12 months so it looks like everyone is different. My advice would be to ring the ESA department to check.

As far as sick (fit) notes are concerned once you have been placed into either the support or work group you no longer need to supply them. The only time they would be needed after assessment is if you are appealing the decision of your medical and have been placed back onto the assessment rate of ESA.
