Tiling bathrooms

Options
Hi,
I was wondering whether anyone could help me.

We have just bought a new build and need to tile the floor of 1 toilet, 1 main bathroom and 1 ensuite. The total floor area is 10m2.
We have already bought the tiles and the grout and we just need a tiler to fit it for us.

The floor at the moment is plywood and I'm not sure that it completely level and we would prefer to have the toilet and sink to be removed so that it looks neater.

Does anyone know how much I should be expecting to pay for this?

The reason I am asking is that I have just had a tiler quote me £1200 for the work. It seems incredibly expensive to us as we are already providing the materials. He told us that the reason why it would cost so much is because the floor has to be prepared first, skirting boards removed and the toilet and sink removed. But still, it works out as £120 per square metre!

Anyone got any advice?

BTW I am based in the North West

actual tiling should be more like 300 quid ish.

you need to add the cost of the plumbing work. say another 200/300 quid.

sounds like youve been quoted london prices.
    Get some gorm.

He'll also have to screw plywood to the floorboards...tiling direct to floorboards is a very bad idea...
