Back to my speedy solicitors. They recieved the answers to the enquiries they raised 3 working days ago and havent even looked at them yet.Going to look at them today and then hopefully have the contract ready for me to sign next week.So a complete week to put it together. They've also got an expedition fee payable if the gap between exchange and completion is less than 10 working days!My purchaser is all ready to exchange, weve both signed the contracts, its just the purchase side that isnt complete yet.I'm moving into a property being sold by a developer and I have a cash buyer. Theres nobody else in the chain,I just find its taking them ages to do anything.
Does it normally take a solicitor at least 8 days, to put together the contract? They initially told me they wouldnt bother putting together the contract until all the searches came in,which is also a little odd.
