You're very welcome. I hope it comes in useful as I do use it quite a lot. I've always been a bargain hunter but now we are on our own at home and always having clear-outs, I do ask myself if I really need the bargain and quite often I don't so I restrain myself. I do love to read on here about all the bargains though. I did get 2 pairs of the Tesco bath sheets for £4 instead of £16, one set each for my 2 sons. One son said he has enough and the other would like a set so I'll just put the other ones away and they will come in handy at some time. My husband once asked me when I developed the towel fetish lol!"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."0 -

lol. i am desperate for the towels that are ceap.. mine are a total disgrace - i dont even hand them on the washing line to dry because they are that bad!!! haha....
with 2 boys, aged 6 years and 19 months, plus a hubby with an expanding waistline ( shhh - dont tell him i said that!) - and me bein 30 weeks pregnant.. with a Girl (so no hand-me-downs available from the older boys!) - i could really do with some cheap , but fairly good quality clothing... for us all really. £30 and it would buy 30 items at £1 - i recon that would keep us all going for quite a considerable amount of time... hardly every treat the kids, or the hubby.. or myself for that matter.. so this would be a great oppertunity. xxProud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -

At my local store, there was a specific £1 rail (but only a few items on there when i was there - was told there would be more added... but didnt know when)
also other hunting amongst the other items is worth a shot - i got a super mario boys t shirt, Angry Birds Tshirt, Transformers Tshirt and a Top Gear 'Stig' dress up boys outfit... all for £1 - but were marked up at full price. xProud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -
I work in Tesco & our £1 clothes sale started today, the girls couldn't get it on the rails quick enough & people were just grabbing any sizes & loading up their trolleys, no doubt to sell on somewhere else...luckily someone saw sence & put a notice up limiting people to 10 items each. I think they're only putting a certain amount of stock out a day, & guess what..... the staff are allowed to look at the stock out the back & get what we want, a rarity in our store as usually it's only limited to the select few ( you know, if your face fits!! ). Trust me guys I left there an hour ago & there is still so much stuff there.0

I have just been to my local tesco and the nice SA pointed me in the direction of some mens jeans that are scanning through at £1... picked up 2 pairs of each:j
She informed me that the £1 sale stuff would be put out around 5am tomorrow..... she said that there wasnt alot there though:( (i then overheard two staff talking about removing the £1 stickers off the clothes they want out the back so that they dont go out on the shop floor tomorrow so probably why)
Called another local store to me (although not on my way to work) which is a tesco extra and they said that they will put their rales out about 6am....Now I cant decide what store to go to in the morning...... I have to be at work at 8am.......What a dilema :rotfl:0 -
