Lloyds partial refund to loan account???
blahblah2
Hi all,
I have accepted an offer for nearly £4800 as my ppi refund and am now awaiting my cheque.
Today I have checked my loan account balance and £1800 has been credited to the account leaving a much lower outstanding balance.
I have just called Lloyds loan department and the guy says it looks like a portion of my refund has been assigned to the loan account. There has never been any arrears on the account if that makes any difference? He also mentioned that the remaining balance owed to me would be sent as a cheque.
Anyone else have any experience of this? I can't work out how they could come to this arrangement or the figures?
Nothing in my offer letter explained that this would happen either.
Would be good to hear from anybody with similar experience.
Thanks

Thanks for that, seems we have been told contrasting stories by Lloyds though! All will become clear in good time I hope, I just hope they haven't messed things up!0
