Hi,
We had our full mortgage offer end of last month. We had our formal mortgage offer in the mail. Today I received another mortgage offer which reads - YOUR AMENDED MORTGAGE OFFER.
There isn't anything that has changed but the overall cost of the borrowing. It has one down by £30. Why would this be? I am little worried over this.
Help !!!

Thanks, I did so and they have told me that there is not anything to worry about. Offer is still in place for the full amount. I am just curious as to why will it happen? Because, bank advisor isn't sure (I actually tried on two different calls) as to why has it happened and I have been issued Amended Mortgage Offer.
Thanks,

Some lenders charge an admin fee for not insuring through them. If your costs have gone down i is not due to this.
Compare the fees in both offers to see if any have lowered.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. If the only thing that has changed is that your total to pay has reduced by £30, who cares?I am an Independent Financial AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as an Independent Financial Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Spoke with bank this morning again. Apparently, my offer went back to Pre Offer for some reason and than was approved again?? Why would they do it? Bit worried over this now but good news is, as confirmed by advisor at the bank and by broker, no need to worry, the full offer is available to us.0
