Motobike Insurance Massive Increase?

Hiya everyone - was hoping you might be able to help me with something.

I've been riding a motorbike for a little while - passed my test and began in Brighton. I was given a quote by Carole Nash for about £240 (3rd party fire and theft - £450 excess) and have been happy with it.

Recently i moved to london - central. They now want an extra £320 pounds on top of the £240. Thing is although i am in central london, im living in a private residential area. All entrances are gated with security guards 24/7. I can understand London is a little more expensive but this seems way too excessive. Is there anything i can do?

Thanks, :money: (<-lol!)

Only solution is move back to Brighton (or another equally low risk area)

You could obtain quotes from other insurers or a broker to compare and see if you can get cheaper. However now you are living in central London that is where your bike is going to be used and the incidents of accident is no doubt greater than Brighton.

Don't forget that Carole Nash include UK & European breakdown cover.
This is a valuable addition if you plan on riding your bike abroad.
