I'm going to fundraise for Hopefield Animal Sanctuary
Has anybody got any ideas? I would like ideas that are not the norm (e.g. bake sales, car wash). Maybe possibly even animal related
Thank you

How about organising a dog show...
with lots of small awards like the smallest dog award, cheekiest dog award, scruffiest dog etc...

A dog show is a lot of work plus you need insurance and that can be a nightmare (and expensive to boot!)
Do you sew? The way I raise funds is to make doggy duvets from duvets which would otherwise go to landfill. They each have a removeable cover like a large pillow case or I use the existing fastenings if at all possible. A single makes 2 duvets and a double or king makes four. I cut them up, wash them then hem.I sell them at £3.50 each. Have just this week reached my target of £1000 which has taken since Jan. of last year! (that's over 300 duvets as they were priced at £3 last year)
I managed to sell a few at my dog training club and a local corner shop which sells pet products as well kindly sell most of the duvets on a not for profit basis. Periodically I get little articles printed in the freebie paper advertising the duvets or asking for old ones, sheeting, covers etc.
I also have a friend who used to knit pooch pullovers. These sold from £2.50-£5.00 depending on the size. Again we advertised in the paper and got donations of wool that wayBeing polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
