Probably the quickest way is to use the crucial scanner here if you need to know what the upgrade options are, though no need to buy it from there

Or download and run speccy from here, click download latest version on the right

If you just want to know how much RAM you have, the System Properties will tell you.
If you want make and model, you need to open it up and look....0 -

CPU-Z is a good program to use, tells you exactly what you have in each slot. As said be careful when installing, as it does try to install the Ask toolbar and make it your homepage. just UNCLICK them when installing this program.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0

No ToolBar in the Portable version, to which I have linked. Is there a ToolBar in the Installer version?0 -
Ah right, i didn't click on the link. Have got it from a while back. Yes the installer does have Ask toolbar and Ask homepage as default.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0

Just checked the Installer version in my SandBox. You are right.
So to avoid that, use the '(.zip, no installation)' version or as suggested, the installer and remove the options for ASK.0
