I can't offer any practical advice, but feel compelled to share my outrage at such a cynical clause in the rental contract!
Presumably if he owned a chip shop he'd try and ban any cooking devices as well!
Or maybe blacking out all the windows if it was above a tanning studio...

Good luck avoiding his laundrette anyway .

Is that 3.2kg limit the dry or wet weight of the clothing?
