MBNA success

hi all, i had my claim upheld in July for a credit card from MBNA that went into default. the debt was sold to arrow global & i am currently paying Bryan Carter Solicitors a monthly payment.
MBNA said they were going to send a cheque in July but i beleived this to be an error & that it would go straight to the outstanding balance. So i didnt chase it up when nothing was recieved.
Well i haven`t had any other letter through from MBNA to confirm my new balance on the debt, so i called Bryan Carter Solicitors this morning to find out if they`d rcvd redress from MBNA. They hadnt??
so called MBNA to find out what had happend to the redress. They put me on hold for a while then said that they didnt know what had happend to previous cheque but would send another in the next 10days:eek:
is this likely to happen or should i not get my hopes up?:(
