Turned Down For Smile Account What Now

As advised with going on pay plan i've tried to open a new account withsmile but been turned down. What's the point now? What am i going to do??????

    Did you do it online? Have you tried calling them up and explaining that you would not need the overdraft facility? They may reconsider?

    You could try going to your nearest Co-Operative and asking for a basic account.

    Or you could always get a Post Office account.

    Alos, here is a link to the Citibank account thread, a lot of people, myself included, all with very poor credit history have successfully opened an account with them, you also get £50 back if you apply through Quidco. Also, if you are recommended by an existing account holder, you and the account holder get 6 free bottles of wine each, so if you want to apply after reading the thread I would be happy to recommend you. Just send me a PM with your details. It comes with a Visa Debit Card and in some cases a cheque book and you can do your banking online/telephone etc. It seems like an easy account to get.
