Holiday for 5 to Majorca/Spain -apartment central to town/airport

Am looking to book a holiday last week of summer hols approx

2 adults and 3 kids age 4, 11 and 14.
Flying from Liverpool
Anywhere in Spain/ Majorca.
Would like a pool , at least 2 bedrooms, somewhere close to resort centre but not too noisy and near to an airport as don't want to spend fortune on taxis.
Have spent hours on internet but can''t locate THE ONE.
Everything I think looks ok has bad reviews and puts me off.
Anyone got any good ideas??????
We stayed in a Thompson Super Family Hotel last year but when there are 5 travelling the room choices are really restriced and v expensive.

We are going to Puerto Pollensa - I think it's about an hour from the airport but it was voted best resort for familes and couples in Which magazine. I wasn't keen on the sound of any of the resorts near the airport.
We've book a 2 bedroom apartment with Apartments Abroad - sleeps up to 8 but we are sharing with my brother so we've halved it - sunclub apartments.0
