Original account with diff bank

Hi does anyone know what happens if your account was opened with GE Capital but somewhere along the line it was taken over by Santander? Will this make a diff to a PPI claim? Who do I claim from GE Capital or Santander? It was so long ago that I don't have any of the original GE documents. Would Santander now have these? Is it now their responsibility?

Hi there

I believe that Santander will deal with your complaint, so send to them and make them aware of GE, and they will investigate.
If you send to GE I understand the complaint will be passed on to Santander to investigate, because my son was in the same position, post by recorded delivery, good luck.;)
